Q:

Hawke SR Pro Reticle?

Hey Guys,

It does not seem like too many people use the Hawke SR Pro reticle and I was wondering why? I could be wrong but my thoughts are for hunting it would be a pretty good option. When you need to make a fairly quick shot, you can easily count the holdover’s for a quicker acquisition. Not to mention longer shots for wind hold, especially if your attaching a camera to you scope. The regular mil dots can be tough to see sometimes in the field, depending on the light/sun situation. There also appears to be many different holdovers all the way down the reticle?

To me the real kicker is Chairgun! Again, I could be wrong but when it figure out the holdover solutions it stops halfway down the scope? The A, B, C etc are not figured in?

Your thoughts please

F#@& it I ordered a Swfa ss 3-15! with 30 Moa built into the Edgun R3m I needed the extra adjustment anyway.

Not a fan my self. Big one is there are no higher marks. I would like to see at least a few mil above zero. I also find it a bit of a mess but guess you may get the hang if you used it a lot. I would opt for there stock mil or 1/2 mil setup if I was to get a scope from them.

Thank you for the feedback. I’m still boggled that their own software does not calculate the full reticle for firing solutions? I double checked and just could not configure chairGun to do so. All well I ended up ordering one so I’ll put it through the wringer and see if it will fit my application. Thanks again!

love the sr-pro reticle,

probably the perfect airgun reticle,
with a little bit of testing you can get the marks to match up in perfect 10yd increments out to 150yds (assuming a 50yd zero)
