HEadline news man kills cats !!!
A trail of dead cats was traced back to a Jacksonville homeowner who police said shot the felines with a pellet gun to protect a koi pond in his front yard.
Dana A. Charlton, 30, of the 3400 block of Mayflower Street was charged with animal cruelty Thursday, according to a Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office arrest report. He posted $1,500 bail and was released from the Duval County jail.
Neighbors contacted authorities when area cats started turning up with pellet wounds. The report didn’t make clear how many cats were killed or injured.
One of the cats was found bleeding in multiple places and throwing up bile. The pet’s owner took it to a veterinary clinic where the animal died from a fatal abdomen wound, according to the report.
Charlton’s wife surrendered his pellet gun to police, the report said. His 3-year-old child told officers “Daddy likes to shoot cats.”
Dam i can not beleve some one would shoot a cat like this. 👿

No, the best shot is through center mass of the skull aiming at the center of an X drawn from ear to opposite side eye. The secret is how to get a wild cat to hold still while you draw the X with a magicmarker.

Some of the 1911 forums and sniper forums that I used to take part in (but don’t anymore) would have guys ready to shoot each other on site.
I mean it would get bad and most of the guys were wannabe marksman or would lie about being rangers or force recon or seals or snipers but you ask them the most basic of questions about their training and they would clam up lol.
My point is that you guys are a pretty genuine group and perfectly disfunctional just the way I like it.
As for covering my ass I always like to leave myself “outs” in life and if I can help someone else with information or covering their ass then I will do it even as some risk to myself now if they tell me to shove that information more power to them at least I tried and if I’m wrong or misinformed then I’m glad someone set me straight 🙂
Funny story: There’s a chinese restaurant in monroe michigan and there is a member here that might know which one I’m talking about since he’s from monroe.
Well this place had been accused of using cats for meat in their food for years and it was talked about anytime someone mentioned chinese food.
I just started dating a girl and thought it would be nice to take her out for chinese so we went there to this place that was in question.
A little background I had spoke with a woman at the health department that said there was no truth to that rumor so I figued it was safe to eat there.
Well the girl knew about the rumor and when I mentioned going there she protested saying no way am I eating cat meat lol I can’t blame her.
She finally gave in and I stressed to here what the woman at the health department told me so our food arrives and they put it down in front of us and we’re making google eyes at each other all is well right?
Well just as they sat the food down in front of us and just as the waitress did that the music stopped (they used a radio station) not traditional chinese music and the commerical for cat chow came on I don’t know how many of you remember that commercial but it goes like this. MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW lol because it’s supposed to be a cat singing for the food cat chow LOLLLLL! well we got out fo there and never returned 🙂

Good thing this topic is moving on….. No need to bring the Health Dept. into it anyway. All us Americans eat now and then at a big chain of restaurants called ROADKILL CAFE. We all know they wouldn’t serve nothing that wasn’t tenderized by fast rolling rubber over concrete or asphalt.

I am back having that fun again , just like when i was in junior high with the newly acquired Sheridan silver streak.
This condor is unbelievable, accuracy and adjust ability, You can tune the rifle to what ever velocity you want for what ever pellet that you want to shoot.
I suppose it would be a pain for someone who just wanted to buy and shoot,but i am the sort that likes to adjust and tinker and want to know why something is working or not working
I am working on consistency now,for extended shot strings.

If I had to speculate on the best place and this isn’t from personal experience I would say looking from the side view 1″ back from the eye and 1″ down from the ear. From a tree stand dead center of the top of the head would probably work better 🙂
