Q:

Heaviest hammer

Pls help:

What is the maximum weight for hammer for TT high flow condor?

I don’t hear much about changing main spring does a greater tension or lower help with power?

Thanks I’m back with airguns.

I was told that 90-95 was safest weight if I go heavier I can destroy the valve.
Reason I ask is cause I want to buy a guys 110 hammer and use it with my TT condor valve.

In regards to the spring in Bolt actions heavier spring gives faster lock time but I think this is not good then the trigger pull will be much heavier in the condor. Is this correct?

If you change the spring it is better. Heavy hammer is slow to excelarate. I only run 101 gr for .308.

But you can run a lot heavier hammer and can run a lighter spring. I built a .25 that customer supplied me with 119 gr hammer and I used a 7 lb spring instead of the 9 lb I normally use and it worked. I didn’t do a lot of testing but I know he is real happy.
