heavy hammer- advantages and disadvantages?
hi everyone. Im new to this game and am ordering my first AAA condor .25 from Tony. I’ve only owned cheap springers till now. Can anyone help me decide what I want for hammer weight? I want to shoot long range targets, head shots on gobblers, tree rats of coarse and when I get comfortable with my condor my boss has some coyote over running his property. I do want to keep accuracy #1 but I also want to throw heavy lead to smash through skulls. Will a heavy hammer sacrifice accuracy?

A heavy hammer is neded to open higher psi fill bottles. If you want to shoot very heavy pellets, you’ll need a high fill and a heavy hammer. The drawbacks are a slightly slower firing cycle and a bit more ‘recoil’.
As soon as you get used to it and compensate, you won’t notice too much.
I read about 100 gram hammers. What are they being used for? Is it just brute force sacrificing accuracy?
AAA .25 should do all of that easily.
