Heavy hammer
If I use a heavy hammer say 95gms in the Talon or SS will I still need a hammer weight ?

That means a Hi flow tank has to be used alongwith a heavy hammer on the Talon or SS !
The hammer weight that comes with the Condor is there to open up the High Flow valve that the condor has.
You don’t need to add a “hammer weight” to a heavier one piece hammer. You will have to address your valve as that heavy a hammer is not meant for an SS valve…

You could just purchase a valve (tony sells a nice one piece) otherwise you could have a two tank set up….I prefer setting up the rifle to shoot whichever pellet I want it to shoot. In other words…if you want to set up for bullets or slugs set up the entire system that way. If you want to set up for lighter pellets, set it up that way. You will learn all about how to get perfect harmony between hammer, hammer spring (pre-load), and valve (tophat), fill pressure, etc. that is the beauty of these rifles…they are easy to understand and tune.
