hellcat(talon P) filling problem
hey guys,hello from uk,i have just bought a gunpower hellcat (i beleive its talon p in us), when i go to fill the bottle (210cc sub 12ftlb uk version), bottle fills as normal,when i bleed the whip air,it drains the bottle to sub 100bar before i can undo fill adaptor, put adaptor on bottle with no whip,not touching top hat(adjustable and in lowest position) so that rules out adaptor pushing against valve,does not leak on or off the gun,i just cant bleed off the air pressure in hose without bottle nearly emptying….. any ideas guys????? thanks in advance

Even withstanding the clearance the top hat appears to have. Boring out the inside of the fill adapter a bit will likely fix the issue.
If I understand you correctly, I would say the check valve in the the hellcats fill adapter is faulty.
How I charge my PCA’s is.
Charge hose hooked up.
Open air tank.
Close air tank.
Bleed off air in hose.
Disconnect hose.
Done.

Are you bleeding the air in the line slowly or quickly? If you’re bleeding it slowly, DON’T. Bleeding the line slowly will empty your reservoir. Bleed the line quickly, and the check valve will seat, sealing off your gun.
