hello to all,my name is paul and i am from the uk and am unsure what to bye….i have my fac coming through for high powered air rilfe i have my eye on the gun power stealth over hear,i am wanting to no is it possable to get this gun to shoot out ton 100 yards and what sort of money will it cost me to get up to scratch,and is there any top people in the uk that can tune these guns,

I used to cast really big slugs, and a lot of 429421’s, had two gang molds, I can’t imagine the trouble you had trying to fill out .22 slugs.
Nice that you tried, sorry that did not work out for you and for us. Knowing that you knew the difficulty there. it was really nice that you gave it a try.
I used to make the Corbin 22 slugs out of .22 empties, I made thousands of them and used them to hunt coyotes for the fur market in a past life. I think Hoot was doing the Corbin route for pellets, Hoot how did that work out?

I had a 45 LC Corbin die, but only used it to make cores for Paper Patch for the 45/70/

Seriously Pabs, thanks for the kind words. She grew up in the wilderness, I worried about the lack of a social life at the time, but she turned 18 in London traveling by her self and had the confidence to enjoy that.
That same trip some taxi driver in Rome tried to kidnap her in a taxi with no door handles. I taught her to fight early, poor guy I have always wondered if he could father children after that.
One of her last trips was to India where she helped build a school for the beggar children in the village where the Dalai Lama lives to break the cycle of poverty.

Especially the pictures of your wife and little girl, she reminds me so much of my daughter when she was that age. She is 26 now and a crack shot with rifle or handgun, beautiful and single, travels the world like her father.
She shot her first deer at 13, 4 shots you could cover with your palm at 300 yards in the shoulder, remington 700 30-06 with reduced loads, reason for 4 shots.
They grow up too fast.
Having grown up on a farm I enjoy your stories of the country life also.

As my beard grows greyer(yes, at the tender age of 39-) 😯 ) time is indeed accelerating and my daughters grow up before my knakered eyes, I have the ‘joy’ of the looming teenage years.
I am charging my cattle prod in preparation of salivating hormone driven spotty youths who will have the same intentions on my beloved daughters as I had on many an unsuspecting(yeah right 🙄 ) young girls.
Freya, my eldest at 6, likes to shoot daddy’s guns, so I’m hoping I can get her into that rather than her getting too much into boys and stave off the time where I have to deal with all that stress and heartbreak.. 😥
I should like to steer my girls as you have done…Get them to see the world and experience life without the trials and tribulations that the vacuous media presents as important.. 🙄

Sad thing is the .22 mold actually started dropping nice slugs but they are just too big and need too much sizing. I tried reducing the size a bit with drop out but I still can’t get them to size evenly and the drop out will need re-applied at some interval and it’s just not worth it if I can’t get repeatable results that yield accurate slugs.
