One of mine leaked only when PSI got below 2000.
The valve seat end was rough and had chewed the delrin seal.
A little honing and polishing the brass and reshaping the delrin solved my problem.
I posted sme pictures of it somewhere.

Another time after installing an E-Tac and not following the instruction to replace the tank oringwith a new one that was provided, the tank would slowly leak a little overnight. I finally noticed the old oring oozing out the seam.
Then I followed the instructions and no more problems.

Thanks the tophat leak has stopped . Appreciate your advice . Thanks once again .

Remove all air from the tank. Pry the stem out with 2 screw drivers, one from each side. Now unscrew the brass piece and the seal will come out. Look at it to see if you can see if it is damaged. Also look at the brass piece where it seals. I have never had one fail. If you have access to a lathe you can polish the brass piece and resurface the seal surface. Or you can replace the seal.

The O ring fix isn’t helping – still leaks . How do I fix the seal ? Appreciate input getting desperate .

So it the o ring. I don’t think it’s leaking from both.

Unscrew the brass piece when tank is empty. I use a Allen wrench to push it around.

O ring is a 014.

Thanks for the reply . Did that air leaks from the stem and when I close the stem its from around the brass ! Whats the fix for this ?
How do I change the O ring or seal ????

Where is it coming from? The stem or the brass piece?

Put some air in it and stick the valve in a cup of water. If it’s coming out of the stem it is the seal. If it’s coming out from around the brass it is the o ring.

Most likely it’s the o ring that seals the brass piece in the valve.
