Q:

Hi I charged my bottle today, the Steallth bottle wouldnt let air in. Realised that the the small grey valve fitting in bottle (the bit the hammer strikes I believe) had to be screwed in, it was loose, is this normal and what effect on power etc If any dose this have if screwed in and not left loose ???
Thank you

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your Stealth.

Thank you for the reply Ive screwed it in seems to shoot fine so I am going to leave it there!!!!

Hi,

if I understand right, the tophat is loose. That should not be so.
You need to tighten the retention screw, but you might need to find the right position for the tophat again.
I believe there are some guidelines on how to do it, but I think you will need a chrono to make sure you get the best settings for your shooting needs.

Why it got loose and why air is not going in, might be related. Maybe you have a stuck valve stem. The hammer was hitting the tophat but the stem was not moving so the tophat got loose or forced loose. Just guessing here.

Maybe somebody with more experience can pitch in some wiser suggestions.

Cheers
Chris
