Q:

Help! I want to buy a .308 cal. FAL? FNL? FNLP ?VE 007model?

Hey guys and gals., Merry Christmas! I know there is someone here, that knows these beasts inside and out. I’m running out of time, so if you are “guessing”, don’t reply! I am so confused! The various sites state so many confusing stats, I need someone to point to a forum, or give me good pros. and cons. if they are familiar with this arm. Thank you very much. PS Hey Adam, Merry Christmas! Hope all is well! tz

Thanks guys for the info. Couple of new ??, what’s better? type 1 or type 2 receivers, and isn’t that carrying handle in the way for sighting or scope use? Thanks again, for your help. tz

You won’t go wrong with DSA.

Here’s their site: http://www.dsarms.com/

Looks like $2K oughta get you a really nice rifle.

That price does sound around the price they are going for you also might want to check on gun broker

Thanks for the info, what’s the $$ range for the real deal Fal. A shop here has one marked $2000 would that be in line?

I have had quit a few fal 308 if you want the best you should buy a DSA you really have to be careful because a lot of people were buying DSA receivers and putting on south African parts kits so I would advise you to go to a gun shop and have them order you new toy if you end up buying a used one make sure it is a true DSA and not a parts kit gun if you need more help feel free to ask I have built at least forty of them so far for customers I am a gunsmith in TX with the air gun bug I think I am addicted just got my first air force gun and I have lots of accessories that I will be offering soon plus custom camouflaging as well
