Q:

Help my pump is STUCK

I just finished pump my tank up and I bled off the pressure just fine.

I always close the vent screw when I carry the pump to my gun safe and then reopen it before storing the pump. WELL wouldn’t you know it my kid pumped the handle! No biggy just turn the screw out and all’s fine<<<NOPE it won’t release the pressure now!!!

It’s the pump you get from AF not sure really who made it tho.

Any an all Ideas welcome……EVEN the BFH Idea’s 😕

Well FYI fixed it for now…AF made it sound like only some one with more letters after there name , then in there name could work on them…

Turns out the o-ring was mushed so replaced the o-ring on the check valve and all is fine now. Now back to looking for a compressor 🙂

Ok just called AF and Not real happy……Said the O-ring is rolled over in the pump.. But I got alot of hmmm’s also so I’m thinking do I send it back or take a lose and buy a hill or just get a compressor…..

It’s about 6 months old and given the price of a compressor…..hmmmm…WERE to buy a compressor?

Also anyone here ever work on one of these cheap pumps?

If what you are saying is that the handle is stuck in the up position even with the bleed valve open you have a broken pump. The most likely cause is the check valve spring is broken and needs replaced.( this is the same probelm I had with mine) The valve is stuck and cannot release the pressure.
