Help Needed Please
The Bolt with the Imperial Alan Head that holds all the Trigger Bar and Trigger Linkage in has Round off and I even tryed to file slighty larger Alan key down to get a good hold but it would either be just to tight to go all the way in or go all the way in and it would not move it and Dlip.
I bought a “Screw Extraction Kit” which is supposed to bite into the head Anti-clockwise and Un-screw what ever youir trying to. All this has done is to Round it more. It just would not get a Bite do it would secure onto it and let me get it out to exchange for a New one from Gunpower.
Now I’m Struck and don’t know what to do. I carnt afford to Damage the Internal Thread at all for the replacement but I must get this bolt out so I can lossen the Grub Screw Holding the Valve Thread so I can get it out, slide the Ali Breach in, put the thread back in and get everything tightened up.
I can then put the Internals in and get it built, I’ve machined most new parts ready for sale and this one sdingle Tight Bolt is stopping me build it. Guttered and so Fustrated.
Anyone who could advice me on any ideas to my problem would really be helping out as I’m out of ides apart from a drill but I don’t want to damage the Thread in the Stealth Frame in anyway.
I hope someone can help.

My left hand screw driver worked also on the screw I buggered up!

I have had real good luck using left hand drill bits to extract bolts and allen screws. They were expensive but have saved me a lot of headaches. Got mine from the Snap-tool guy.

I am doing it back to front, the only reason I wanted it out is to put the “Aluminium Breach” in I’ve not long made but I’ve always put it in the back way, not thinking I can just put it in first, with my Barrel, Hammer, Spring ect so I’ve no need to take it off.
Not done it yet but I will build it tomorrow and put a photo of it all built up with my previous photos of it all parted and all the New Parts I machined.
Easy when you know how, I’m kicking myself for not thinking of that. I should have known that considering I’ve made enough parts for them but some real posative and great ideas so nice one lads 🙂

+1 dremel is your friend here,plus if it dont work then you have other options.
Drive a torx bit in the allen head hole, then it will come out.

is the area around it aluminum ? try sulfuric acid .
i m totaly un sure of what you are talking about , as to where the skrew is .
Try using a Dremel and cut a slot and you can use a screw driver (an impact driver is better) good luck
If there is a chance someone put lock tight on the threads, you may be able to heat the bolt with a solder iron. This would let the lock tight release.
You may try drilling with a bit smaller drill, than the hole you have now and then use a smaller easy out. This will be risky also.
Should the smaller easy out break…………!
Another method that I’ve used involves using a small chisel on the outer rim of the screws head. Not a very sharp chisel, or a small screw driver may work. Gently tapping the chisel to work the screw loose. Hit just hard enough to make a dent, you’ll be driving against-on the bur that will curl up…….Make sure you’re turning the screw counter clock wise.
You may try driving a flat blade screw driver into the hole and backing the screw out that way. Worked for me last time I buggered a screw.
Last resort, drill a hole big enough to break the screw head off, remove the trigger group cover, then take pliers and remove the screw. If loc tite is involved, heat screw with soldering iron, before using pliers to remove headless screw. X2 what fishin_rod said.
Next time don’t tighten that screw, snug is all you need. Keep an I on it and should it work loose, tighten it a tad more!
