HELP PLEASE. All my air just releaes when turn pressure esap
Hi, Could somebody please help me.
I have a high flow falve which you can put differant size adaptors for differant pressure release.
I own a Stealth 2000 and when i screw on my adaptor and fill it up to 2000psi with my divers bottle, when i tern the large screw to release the pressure from the adaptor and chub, all it does id release all my air?
Now ive double checked it on mu friends bottle and his Valve is a standard Valve with a top-Hat and when i take that bottle up to 2000psi and turn the3 relese screw it let va out a sharp ans quich amount of air so i can un-screw my adaptor the way it should, no problem.
So i have alinated the Divers bottle as that is 100% working fine and i double checked it with a standard valve on nthe same size bottle and the relese pressure screw id 100% working the it should so we know it is all working the way it should so that only leaves the Valve…
There must be a solution to this and i would be very greatfull if someone could help me.
Thank you.
David

Dave, high pressure air is dangerous to fool around with if you don’t know what you are doing. I only understood about half what you typed. Is english your first language or are you really young? If so, you may want to consult with someone in your area who is on this list and knows more about these guns. No shame in asking for help, and a damn sight better than blowing something up.
Valves sometimes won’t close when the pressure differential is smallish. I’ve had similar problems before, and found instead of breaking open the bleed slowly, if it failed to seal I would crack the bleed open all at once and that would make the valve close. then take the tank, install it in the gun and dry fire a bunch of times and that would seat the valve better, if it is still leaking slightly.
aloha,
