Q:

Help TT Tony…25 hammer

Tony

A discussion here about a new hammer assembly for the 25 Vulcan. Would it be possible for you to arrange replacements for all your customers instead of each of us having to contact the manufacturer? If this is indeed a recommend replacement for reliability.

quote bullfrog0002:

My Vulcan has been plagued with shifting poi and I am done with it. Dealer sent it back to me and said it was the endcap for my silencer. So I got it back and took it off and same thing. So I had a very nice shroud made for it but same thing. The another guy from the dealer said it shot fine while it was there. I have no idea what to do. My 22 cricket walks all over my Vulcan an my dealer wont warranty it now because he said I used an aftermarket endcap and because I plasti dipped the stock and pealed it all off except for where the engravings are to give it some contrast. Wtf that crap peals right off. Is this really a reason not to warranty a gun? Also when I first got the gun it wouldn’t shoot at all the trigger would not engage the hammer. Dealer was happy for me to send back to fix but also said it would be an easy fix and walked me through and functioning but its just never been right and it sucks.

Thats straight Bullshit…. OUT that Dealer. Email the manufacture. Unless of course there is something your not telling us.

Evgeny wants each customer to contact him in regards to the new hammer.

Hi

I posted earlier that my Vulcan .25 was giving poor shot strings showing peaks and troughs. Over appx 34 shots around the 900 fps figure a ES of 23 fps and SD around 6 fps. At this point I heard Vulcan are producing supplying free on application to Evgeny a different hammer spring combo. He requests you return the old items.

Mine is MK2 build number around July 2015. All info already posted. I see no value in a shot string showing a sweet spot with only 18 shots. It IMO needs the complete string from fill to just before off regulator, say 220 bar down to 155 bar. If one can read the gauge . Then fair comparisons can start to be made. Keyser soze ( Brian) and others have divulged shot strings similar. My results are sub standard to theirs and are borne out by lots of flyers both at 50 and 100 yards. I am prepared to wait prior to installation of this new combo as I am on a long vacation until mid March. Hoping others may have tried the new combo .

So we wait

Safe shooting

fe7565 , I get your point , ask Evgeny why he is replacing hammers for the .25 Vulcans’ since I guess there are owners who are
having issues with their hammers . I for one haven’t kept up on this forum as to what exactly is going on and what problems
other .25 Vulcan owners are having with their hammers . I do not have any issues with my .25 Vulcan hammer . My Vulcan
shoots just as great today as it did a year ago , ever since I took it out of the box . I can still hit my target at 193 yards . I
guess that I have been blessed with a .25 Vulcan that so far has no problems and I hope it stays that way . As for now all I can
say is let the force be with me and let me ( hammer ) all the pests / critters that need to be eradicated to be eradicated with-
out any hammer or other problems .

May be you should ask Evgeny why is he sending out a hammer that he improved? Afterall, a Model T was the fastest car of its time too… Either his new hammer fixes something or improved on something. Lacking any details (knowledge?) about the reason for the hammer on this forum, I speculate that Evgeny feels its important enough to send to his customers even at the cost of individually shipping them from Europe.

I don’t really understand what the problem is with those who have a .25 Vulcan and say they have a problem with their hammer .
How is it fucking-up their gun ? My shoots just fine and kills every thing from paper to critters without any kind of hammer problems .
I maybe stupid about this , but would like an owner who has a hammer issue explain exactly what the hammer problem is .

you don’t mess with something what is operating properly. why would you. NO.
