Help with a crazy idea!!
Hey guys (gals too??) im new to the forum, and i have this idea burning in my head. has anyone tried or completed a gas through stock? I was wanting to use a paintball HPA tank (68 CI or higher, 3000 psi- dont know if a 4500 psi tank would work) as the source of air, connected to a gas through stock. any ideas would help- and if it wouldnt, please let me down easy!!

I tried this awhile back. Using a 24″ barrel on a .22 Condor I was only able to get low 800’s max using kodiaks. The limiting factor was the volume of air able to flow through the hose before the pellet left the barrel. Theoretically if you had a sufficient reservoir in the stock this “volume” issue could be eliminated.
The easiest way to experiment “safely” with this idea is to purchase a CO2 valve and then screw a common foster-fitting in the CO2-bottle end of the valve. Paint-ball remote hose kits have this piece that screws into the bottle end of the AirForce CO2 adapter.
I was thinking that too- have a small reservoir w/either a hard line, or a steelbraided hose snaking through the stock to the big tank… awesome! thanks!

homebuilt “condor” in a bullpup configuration. he made a very small air resivoir on the back of the gun with a hardline to the hpa tank under the forestock. probably would work for getting a more standard full size stock on the talon/condor also.

Or you could get some 1.25″ steel tubing and make some endcaps. One with threads for the valve the valve, and the other for a foster fitting. Then run some hose to a small tank that attaches to the rail on the below the barrel. Shabam! you now have a talon pistol sort of thing.
