Help with Scope for $200 budget.
I have a Airforce Condor SS in .22 caliber and I need to get a mil dot scope for it. I do not need a lighted reticle but I would consider one, 1″ or 30mm either is fine.
Variable power 4×12 or so. I will use it for target out to 100 yards and hunting out to 50 yards.
I want a quality scope so if $200 is not going to cover what I have described I would wait and save up more money. Thanks for you help.

I have that same UTG on both my Talon-Dor and my Marauder. Been using them for a couple of years and never had a problem with losing zero and my guns get banged around quite a bit while hunting. Dropped my Marauder out of a treestands last year ( 20 feet to the dirt) and it still held zero.
Not sure what the price is now but I got both of mine from Amazon for about $110 each with free shipping. 30mm tube is nice!

I have the 4-12×44 SWAT Compact w/o lighting.
Leapers are real good scopes for the money and will stand up to magnum sproingers. You can buy better, but you will pay a lot more.
Well, since no one else has answered I’ll throw in my 1.5cents. I bought this scope:
I didn’t want the rainbow brite unicorn reticle, but figured I could live with it since I couldn’t find anything else meeting my other desires. The good news is that the reticle is nice standard black if you don’t bother installing the batteries, which I have not. The optics are clear and bright. I haven’t performed a ‘box test’ – but the adjustments I’ve made have held. The overall unit appears to be higher quality than I had expected for the price. What I don’t know is much about its durability. I’ve had it for only a short period, and it hasn’t seen any hard knocks yet, so time will tell. At this point I consider it superior to most rimfire scopes I’ve used in the same, or slightly higher, price range and I will therefore be considering the same as my next rimfire scope.

Yes sir! Same company! I also like the built in sun shade on their scopes. The 30+ color “disco” reticle is something I never use but it’s a good conversation piece!
