thanks for the info,I am no stranger to an airgun i had them as a child, where do you think i learned how to shoot 😛 I aquite alot of my shooting abilities to using my old daisy 880 powerline ,damn i used that thing to death back in the earlie 80s,killed about anything that moved with that,I just also sold my model 48 RWS 177 this is my first 22 cal.I have hunted my whole life enjoy it,I have 4 state record holder bucks here in ohio, and medals from the USMC for shooting,ok nuff said not bragging jus facts about me ,myself and I.where the hell is the newby pat of this formn?lol…thanks for the good info guys by the way I have crossman hollow points thats what i received with the AF.regards RC
I am a former Marine myself, member of base shooting team, shot Eastern Div matches etc. Yoru shooting background will be an asset, I was more sharing how your setup will work well as is than presuming you to be a new shooter. Airgun shooting at 100yds, especially with the 12″ barrel is closely similar to shooting a 5.56 AR at 500 yds when it comes to the importance of reading the wind and estimating range. Just a few yards off in distance is enough to result in a missed target; it is a bit different type of shooting hence the practice comment, not inferring that you coudn’t shoot in general. Quality pellets make a big difference too.
