Obama is vacation as folks are dying and doing the minimum again. What a worthless SOB. What scares me isn’t Obama. There are plenty of turds out there. What we should be really afraid of is the Obama low-information handout voter. 😯
I’ve been cheering for Kurdistan for a long time. I haven’t been there, but I have met Kurds all over the Middle East, and usually find them the hardest workers and the most fun. Danced with them in Antalya. I actually wrote to a Congressman (a good one) about a week ago to urge some backup for the Kurds. Even if we decide to let these evil Daash bastards build a terrorist genocidal state, we gotta back up the only normal people in the neighborhood, and that’s the Kurds.
Words of advice, though: Kurdistan needs a more strategic view of the end game in all this. You are not going to beat those bastards by defending a 1000 mile border, because they always have the initiative. You gotta use those airstrikes, get the weapons and ammo, and take the war to them. I don’t know how the other local powers will react, but you can’t win by not losing. Peshmerga need to launch an offensive before IS gets stronger and more established. Make them react to you.
Saudi ought to send you a few rials for all the trouble they started, too. They have a nice air force, they ought to be backing you guys up. Maybe they are?
