Hard truth…your .20 Leyla is now obsolete, in both caliber and design, and too damaged to fix!
The .20 caliber probe O rings have been discontinued, world-wide, due to low demand and continuous failures. It seems that particular size and diameter tend to “explode” and blow out the muzzle. You might try a couple wraps of duct tape around the probe and see what happens.
The blow-back issue is a dead horse, as the new Leyla’s are multi-shot, and that old design has been discontinued. Further .20 caliber lead pellets are no longer available because the World Health Organization (WHO) has shown they cause cancer in rats! They are now illegal in the U.S.
Tell you what…I am not without pity! I’ll toss you a bone, and give you $500 USD, Paypal Gift, shipped, with all the pellets you own, and I’ll junk it out for parts when it arrives! The mechanical parts match some of my sprinkler system heads and the stock is handy for clubbing rats when I’m in the crawlspace.
Don’t wait long…I’m now 73, and most likely will be dead soon. Just saying….this may be your last chance to unload that dead hog.

Yep, fact, still waiting on Gen 1 fix from Ed even though I have been getting brass sleeves and valves made to experiment with. KS has the Gen 2 fingered out but the Gen 1 is still FUBAR.
Waiting on a new set of 2mm brass inserts so I can try an Ernest .25 Matador valve (2mm stem). If she bends then its in with the 3mm sleeve and valve but afraid without the heavy hammer I will be spinning my wheels. Good times in Edgun land!
Anyone want to send me a heavy hammer or complete heavy hammer trigger pack so I can test the theory?

I feel your pain, I boight a used .20 Lelya second generation, that I have wasted many hours and ammo trying to adjust out the blo black with no luck. Dont even want to mess with it any more. Ed sells an accurate piece of junk thats us stupid Americans buy at top dollar and then you have to figure out how to fix the problem yourself.
Well I just found out why I could not stop the blo back on the Lelya, took the breech off and both o-rings on the probe are gone! Anybody know what size they are and where to get them?

Gino forget about waiting for Ed to fix your .30 caliber. Contact John Hagan at Hagan tool and get the fix. I know it will cost a few bucks more and that should not be. I know Ed should really be taking care of this but remember our serenity far out weighs what is right and just. :fishinghole:
It is unfortunate that Ed has squandered this opportunity to shine as a manufacturer and maker of Edgun. Wish old Edgun would wake up and listen lots of folks offering him sound advice. Lots of pissed off folks wanting him to succeed but he keeps shooting himself in the foot. Instead of going a head slowly and covering all of his moves Ed is speeding ahead recklessly without dotting all of his I’s and crossing all of his T’s. He is bringing lots of new products to market that may not be ready for market or planned and thought out very well. Action is different then Reaction. Edgun is reacting and not acting.
