Here’s a question for y’all…
would making the diameter of the shroud be beneficial? most, if not all of the shrouds are round about the same size O.D. wise. would making a larger diameter shroud, in addition to length work better?

As Nate said, all else being equal volume is always quieter. More room for the air to expand, so less noise escapes the muzzle of the can.
Many believe more volume = quieter. Give it a go and let us know the results, and, oh yea, pictures. 😀
