Q:

Hi flow tank, standard tank, hammer weight compromise?

Hey everybody. I recently got a hi flow tank, and with my stock Talon hammer it doesn’t open it up very well. I would like to be able to use my stock tank as well. Is there a hammer weight, or other mods like tophat, that will allow a compromise to use both without changing hammers? Would be great if i could use the PW to adjust between tanks. My PW now doesn’t make a noticable difference, but i don’t have a chrony to check. (it’s on my list for santa). Anyone else have both tanks and able to use both? Or is this a pick one or the other deal? Thanks.

I am using a 105gram hammer that i made and it functions quite well with both the standar valve and the high flow condor valve….or until my condor valve failed due to human error… 😈

I’ll take a shot at this, try this (it MIGHT work, it MIGHT NOT work) adjust your top hat on the condor tank out as far as you can and still being able to close and lock the breech. If that doesnt work, try a heavier hammer and adjust your talon top hat down as far as you can without it smacking the tank. HTH. Try it and LMK your results. If someone knows from experience this won’t work or is a bad idea please say so, and if so, I apologize for giving bad advice.
