hi giuys first post
i am very happy to have a new condor ss from airgun depot and be on this board.
a bit about AF guns. i have been a hand pumper, and have a couple of tanks. it’s a hassle to get them filled and so i have avoided getting a condor in favor of marauders and other PCPs that are easy to fill. this changed with putting a shoebox compressor on order. air is now free as it has always been save the electric bill. i bit on the condor .25 SS in a heartbeat.
now here’s the thing about AF guns. the first thing i would look at is engineering efficiency, how a rifle uses its air, and the AFs looked crude. getting the condor and taking it apart changed my tune, fast. it may use air but the engineering is devilish clever with its minimum of parts and great packaging. how can you fit a trigger into that small space? no bolt probe, do i have this correct, you can change caliber in a snap with a new barrel only? it is really admirable how they built this rifle.
the pics in the trigger thread do not come up for me. if anyone has a schematic or pictures please post them as i have the trigger apart putting in a TT spring and can’t figure out where the different springs go. the stock pull by the way was not bad at 2.25#, not bad, but a little heavy.

thanks tony. i have the trigger apart and am polishing the trigger and sear faces. that’s a good pic and good info but i am going to find someone to take this to email to get the parts reassembled in the right order. i am just blown away with the sweetness of this platform.
