High flo valve
Any need to change the spring on a 177 high flo valve?? I will be shooting a 21″ barrel in 22 caliber. I also have the hammer weight. Thanks for replys, Ben

The spring on the .177 is much stiffer and was part of the problem years ago with the high flow valve.
The .22 needs a softer valve spring.
Adam, would the adjuster backed off give adequate results?
any idea what AF uses for spring in the CO2 adapter?
Yes you will want to change that spring.

worst case pull valve and back off spring retainer.

I don’t have the bottle yet. I have it on it’s way and was wondering if I needed to order a spring for it. I got a deal on the bottle so I took the 177. Still need a reply. Ben

They tried that back in the day. It was not until Tofazfou found a softer spring for the valve did they start working right.
