Q:

High Tech Combro Reader

I got tired of picking up the rifle after every shot to see the FPS on the
Combro so I temporarily mounted a mirror to my adjustable shooting
stick….

I keep thinking about cutting the wire off and just leaving the plug in but
I am afraid it would stop changing automatically.

Am I understanding this correctly? Without that cord hanging from the unit, it won’t display the last shots velocity unless you push a button in between every shot?

AAARRRGGGGHHH!!!!!! YES 😯

AAARRRGGGGHHH!!!!!! NO!!!!!! What a PITA!!!!!

Hey Jeff I bet you could find somebody that could detach the LCD (or add another) and move it back to where you want it.

Would be great to have the LCD and the sensors seperate so that you
could see it…. If I could hook up a memory stick to the interface I could
at least download the info to the computer… Too bad I have ZERO tech
skills when it comes to computer hardware and such…

What’s that big yellow tampon hangin’ from the end of your barrel all about?

Looks like the serial interface….

No laptop mam?

Yes it is a serial interface hanging off the end of my barrel… No YN…
I thought about finding an old laptop on Craig’s list but then I thought
that might be going just a little too far…. When I ordered the Combro, I
was under the impression that I would be able to download shot strings
from the Combro to the computer… Well that turned out not to be the
case but, when the interface is plugged in the Combro will change
automatically on every shot so at least I don’t have to manually press
the button after every shot…

Now wheres a mirror and a stick……

😆 😯 😆 😯 😆 😆

Wow 😯
Is there a link to the site that has developed this system??
I’m ta thinkin’ you paid at least a couple hundred?
I would get one, but I just can’t justify that kinda outlay, no matter how high tech it may be 😥

I will continue to use my MKI remote optical to vocal relay system. My wife.
