HIGH-TECH UPGRADE FROM AIRFORCE
Airforce has truly outdone themselves this time.
I just disassembled a brand new Condor and in looking things over found a tremendous upgrade which solves conclusively an age old question (WTF is a piece of masking tape doing on the hammer spring).
At first I only noticed this……….and my first thought was “what kind of dimwits does AF have building their guns that they need an ID tag for a spring?” 😯
As I looked further though, I found printing on the other side of the tag too…………
So their technology has made the old “what the hell is this” piece of masking tape obsolete, replaced with a dedicated id tag sticker that is even labeled to identify its intended purpose. 🙄 🙄 🙄 😆 😆 😆 😆
I about died laughing at the absurdity so just had to share.

AF must be getting fancy. Back in the day, it was just a piece of masking tape that was put on the spring. Just knocks off a bit of noise on the spring. I took mine off thinking it was not supposed to be there.
I was about to tear mine off, when another owner stopped me….it seems they do work. The cut spring twang or so I’m told.

Why would they even leave the darn tag on the gun..? How idiotic.
My Talon SS, which is about a month old, has the same tag on the hammer spring. At first, I thought it was some kind of shim when it stuck out of the power indicator slot.
That damn noisy spring 🙄 😛
It’s like the old Batman series where the computer was labeled “COMPUTER” 😀
Swell choice of names though, ain’t it?
Now the cops can open your strange gun up and find a clearly labeled silencer inside. Why not just name it ‘Crack’ or ‘kiddie porn’?
Still it does show someone is trying to think……. Not everyone is lucky enough to have someone stop them from tearing it off like I did.

Coating that spring in anal seepage would do as good a job as that tag. I think I’ll call AF and purchase a spring silencer.
I got one of those a few weeks back, got a laugh out of it.
