Q:

Hill Pump Gauge Vs Marauder Gauge

Which one do I trust?
I refilled the marauder with the Hill Pump to 3000psi on pump and the marauder gauge showed way in the red zone maybe 3150-3200 psi.

I know the Marauder gauge is not top of the line, but can I trust the Hill Pump’s one?

Any feedback is appreciated

Cheers
Chris

Go with the Hill gauge and replace the one on the Marauder.

I agree go with the hill gauge, I fill with my Great White and the marauder gauge is way over in the red .
I know my great white is accurate as its very close with my Cricket….
I can shoot aspirins at 50 yards when the Marauder .25 is sighted in , The green mountain barrel is sweet…..

I’ll let you know as soon as I find a source for them. How friggin’ cool would that look on an Air Force gun or an M-Rod? So far, the smallest I can find are 3″ in diameter! Always looking though.

Mike,

thank you. I will use the Hill Pump gauge as you suggested.

I have been looking for those digital gauges too!
Please let me know if you find any. I am interested.

Cheers

Hey Chris;
I would say the Hill gauge is most likely more accurate than the Marauders gauge.
I have been searching for a few years now for micro ( under 1.5″ ) digital readout gauges for both my Marauder and Talon-Dor. Mostly for the “cool” factor! It’s hard to find anything that small that will top out at 3k p.s.i.
