Yeah they should have tubed it up. Kind of prod likish.
Thanks for the info guys you are definatly experts in the field and have good ideas. I like that picture of a nylon 66 I had one and know where one is still in the box wich will be mine if it ever comes up for sell, could have my rear end kicked for selling the one I had.
My Talon-p Will kill a Racoon at 45 yards dead as a door nail. So it is a good gun too, I have 3 short talons 2 of them are talon -p one wight big tank and one with small tank and one is an ss talon. I favor the shorte of the 2 I’d like to have the option to extend the stock, WOK might solve that we’ll have to wait and see ,,, but for now keep posting and I’ll keep readin,, keep making these things and this old man will keep shooting them, Heck I cant acctually make anything All I got is a horse shoeing Mase and a file and an angle grinder , claw hammer, chisel and a wrecking bar, not much watch repair hereLOLOL 😀

I believe if sufficient air volume for the pellet were already in the tube leading directly to the valve, at 3000 psi, there would be no loss of performance.
The question is, at 3K psi, how much volume would that transfer tube need to get off a full power shot? Some fraction of a cu. inch I suspect. Or, even down to the cu. centimeter range perhaps. 3K psi is serious pressure, so even at small volumes, it would possess quite a punch.
It seems it should be a problem simple enough to solve, as many of the bottle pcp’s are already doing it, and managing 30 – 80 fpe per shot. Ie: Air Wolf, Air Ranger, etc.

i dunno, hoot. the rearward tank, supplying air in a relatively straight path is the primary asset of AF guns, perhaps an internal pressure line from the under barrel tank feeding a small chamber/valve assembly in the usual place may do it, starts sounding cooler as i type… 😎
Caliber is perfect.
Tank is right size.
Power is impressive.
However, like their safety design, their R and D department has all the inspiration and imagination of an owl turd.
If they had just dropped the two part handle and forearm design, and incorporated a one piece, molded polymer grip, it could at least look like a pistol.
Remember the Remington Model 66?
Remember what they did to spin off that product into a pistol?
It’s all about looking the same, yet different. Using an existing platfrom, but modified enough to make a difference. It’s a fine line, but Remington managed to pull it off without looking like they made a short version of the nearly identical rifle.
I’m certain our forum members could have pulled it off. The first thing I would have done is rehang that tank under the barrel!
Any other ideas?

they should have just slashed the cost of talon frames, and started hypin the little tank, and let the customer figure the rest…
It is the kind of stuff we make from spare parts when we are bored.
