Q:

Home made paper pellet trap ideas

I’d like to make a home made paper pellet trap…I already have a wood box…but I need some way of holding the paper targets. I’ve seen people take a clip board and cut it so that you can shoot through it but I feel like with the paper targets I want to shoot, ill wind up hitting the corners of the clipboard.

I want something to hold the paper in place from more than just the top.
Any ideas?

Here’s what I use. Take a cardboard box 24 x 24 x 12 inches or any size you like , stuff it full of old sweaters or old clothes ,tape your targets to the box and you have a pellet trap you cant beat ,
after thousands of pellets it just gets heaver ,works great on 22 and 25 cal perfectly safe,

You can get clips with magnets on them, then just mount them to something metal on the edge of your trap

Just saw this over on YouTube and it just might fill the bill.

Best of luck, Mike
