Yep I’ve noticed the same thing. Is TAG going under?? Only time will tell. I did notice that Hoot: jumped ship and is now trolling AGN. He really misses Sir Ville and his yearly canoe trip down Toad Suck River.
Same here. It’s the only place I could sell an airgun. No responses on three forums for a week and it was sold on AGN in two days once I posted there. Sad but true.
On another note the millenials are as a group really screwed up. They are putting a ton of traditional industries in a tail spin in favor of having their noses buried in their cell phones (social media), computers and video games. Some good studies have been done and articles written. Motorcycles, airguns, and Radio Control things to name a few. Basically, they prefer virtual reality and they suck as consumers. I am guilty of some of the same but not to the point of a generation of psychos. My cousin the shrink says he is really busy these days. 😛
I believe you may be right. This forum has been a source of unending information, but no one seems to come here anymore. Even the Yellow seems to be going under. All appeared to happen when everyone switched forum software…???

The problem here is suddenly the market is flooded with bullpups with every feature you can dream of. Gone are the days when we begged for multi-shot pcp air guns. No longer do we need to make, machine, or carve our own modifications. Gone are the times when we could only speak of silencers in hushed tones and use secret words like “Lead Dust Collectors”, and buy epoxied 1/4″ washer, aluminum tubed, hand made slip over the muzzle, moderator from bold forum members who sold them quietly at great personal risk. Those pioneer days are forever vanished and we have become extinct…now young shooters start jobs at more than our maximum pay ever reached, purchase their pcp’s with factory equipped gear we only dreamed of, or made by hand. No one speaks of “Top Hats” anymore, an “Extreme Condor Valve” doesn’t mean shit today to anyone. All that stuff isn’t made by home craftsmen, it’s all CNC machined, or 3-D printed. No more do we speak in hushed tones about rumored “Edguns” that only rich Arabs and Europeans owned and posted pictures of, next to their vacation homes in Spain!
The world is going to hell…young women are giving away sex…you can’t afford a top end truck any more, nuclear warheads now have “dial-a-yield”, we have South Americans taking free buses to our borders, getting free food, lodging, and being dropped off at bus stations to go where they please. The members of our Congress can’t pass a simple budget, Socialist politicians are demanding we get rid of “Democracy” and give everyone a free ride. LBGTQ members demand access to both bathrooms, and some Americans might even be granted “reparations” to pay them back for something that happened to their ancestors a century ago! Equality is one thing, but reparations????
Our problem is there is little in air guns to get excited about…wait for months/years to get…our hobby is flooded with fully equipped gear at every price range. Fuck!
