well only one of them will be his…the others IDK yet….

#1 – 3/8″ dia knob with o-rings (or w/o)

Probably a jail cell knob if I don’t change my attitude!

Hoot 😯

So Hoot – what are you going to get polished next?

LOL I got plug on the brain for some reason. Maybe too much knob polishing.

Won’t plugging your breech make loading a pellet awkward?

If you stick the plug into the breech, you can’t cock the gun, you can’t put a pellet into the barrel, and you can’t fire the damn thing!

Sure, it looks good….but how far do we go for good looks????

Confused…

LOL – no he said a brass shroud end cap would look good if it matched the brass breech knob I am making today and trigger I already made. I am not so sure.

Now my buddy wants me to make a shroud end cap to match the trigger and breech plug to be developed. What do you think?

your “buddy” wants you to make a “breach plug”….. sounds kind of….. well, frutie….

Now my buddy wants me to make a shroud end cap to match the trigger and breech knob to be developed. What do you think?

I think I will have some time to get to my buddy’s house to do the breech knob tomorrow or Sunday. Not sure on design yet but it will be brushed brass to match the trigger. Any ideas to snaz it up? I guess I could flute it or do three holes to match the trigger. Decisions decisions….

PS: I wouldn’t know the specific weight of your knob, but I’ve been told some of the plain Black ones can be very heavy indeed.

It’s not the size that counts.

I guess I will brush my knob to match the new trigger shoe and make the weight identical to the existing knob. It’s no fun polishing it myself.

Well that was a tease! I thought it was gonna be a show 😆

Knob polishing? So what does a standard knob weigh?

You don’t want just anyone polishing your knob!

This sort of undertaking is done by private referral only.
