Q:

Hot

Its so HOT here in odessa, Tx that the only way to get a shot at a bird is to turn the water sprinklers on.
we are expecting triple digests all week, 105 degrees to day,
OK , Just a little pissing and moaning until my 177 Vulcan gets here.

Okay, Greg makes 3 good men that give me updates… :8:

I have been on all of the major islands except Hawaii. I need to get there for a visit.

Never let a volcano get in the way of a good round of golf. 😛

No lava here on Oahu Honolulu Coda only on the Big Island, well so far ?
People say Hawaii and think it”s one place/island but it’s many.

Sadly though the Big Island lost many more homes just last night.

– Aloha, Greg

Can you surf the lava? I was shocked to see the count on houses was over 600. :suprisedn:

Up to triple digit critters here in a day of shooting, everyday of the year and at night if you like ratting. :5:

…. surfing is like no other.

I’ve got two past purchasers of my holders that constantly update me with their pesting outings and they’ve got me jealous as a man with a cheating wife. One gentleman smacks away easily up to 25 a day and the other hits at least 10. Both get paid and sometimes do it for free. Lucky bastids!

Oh Mike, that would cost a small fortune here in AZ to run sprinklers all day. Of course there’s not much grass so not too many sprinklers found here. But I feel your pain.

SECoda, we don’t have too many bodies of water here either so not too many boat owners here in Tucson. Sux. For fun we have to go out to the desert and practice our high jump over cholla cactus. I’d like to rather live by the ocean or in some forested area, personally. This desert life has got me sorta, “blah”.

I am often the designated driver. We are renting a 150 hp pontoon with a built-in slide this year (below). I have owned two boats and it makes me appreciate an expensive rental so much. lol

Sure sounds like fun Coda. I’ll be thinking of you each time I pull the trigger.

I am envious. No plans to go this year. The chipmunks, sparrows, and starlings will have to do. lol

We have a seven trips reserved in the big RV for each of the seven month season this year and started in April. About thirty-five days reserved so far. We are going to Table Rock Lake next in two weeks for a full week with the entire family. Even the in-laws parents (in a hotel – ha). It’s a big lake – nearly 60 miles long in the Ozark mountains. Branson, MO is near by.

Coda send those chipmunks to me I’ll take care of them. I’m heading to Wyoming next weekend for my annual P-dog shoot, 49 years straight.

We are under attack. The numbers of chipmunks has been skyrocketing the last three years and they are everywhere this spring. I have picked off about a dozen so far. There was little spring here this year. It went from cold to hot. We have few flying insects here surprisingly like mosquito’s and mainly see hornets and wasps normally but this year they seem to be way down. I am guessing the lack of a spring had something to do with it. I can tell riding the motorcycles around I have few bug hits like normal for this time of year. If a neighbor didn’t have about twenty bee hive houses I might be worried about the flowers pollinating. I haven’t seen many ticks either and this is their busy time. We have also had a huge increase in black bears with the mild winters in the re-population project. They are talking a limited permit hunt soon.

:4:

Well Mike seems you have a lot of pissing and moaning to do. Could be months before you get your 177 Vulcan. By then it’ll be winter!
