Houston, we have a problem……
Just got my talon ss yesterday. Have put maybe 50 or 60 shots through it….10 minutes ago I took a shot and the tank completely emptied itself. it was probably holding 2600psi. Scared the $#*t out of me…..what happened? Should I just pump it back up and try again? I havent had it 24 hours yet…

it is a .22. I think you are right about the seating of the pellet. I got impatient and re-filled the tank to 2800psi. Its been shooting great since. When this occured it was loaded with a pellet called a penatrator. This pellet is what I suppose you would describe as a sabot. Plastic body with a steel or maybe alloy shank. After it happened I watched the dvd that came with the package I bought and it said NOT to use these types of ammo because the plastic leaves a residue in the barrel that effects accuracy.
What caliber is it.
Regardless….send it back to dealer or Air Force.

No experience, but during my last week of prowling around, they often say this is caused by not seating the pellet well.

Terrible pellets. Nothing more than a novelty for newbys!
They give no back pressure, and there fore no valve slamming back shut! Using them is a Big No-No!!!
You have a Real AG now. Put away the kiddie toy pellets! They’re for sissys with springers. And low powered ones at that. They will ruin a springer with any power as well! 😉
