Q:

How are the Black Mambas…

With a stock .25 Condor 24″ barrel? Too heavy? I’ve been tinkering with my stock Condor and accidentally got Cuda’s up to 1100-1200 fps. Albeit wasn’t a nice string but the heavier the projectile, the more efficient a pcp can be no? Within reasonable limits ofcourse.

Thanks for any information!

Thanks everyone!

Getting a short curve in the low 800’s will still do some damage as you’ll be pushing around 100FPE and the slugs will carry that energy longer than the cudas carry theirs. That said, the slugs are meant for guns with some power adding tuning applied…

A condor valve is only good for mid 800’s with 7 rings no matter how much work you do. Then it has no curve unless you set it up to shoot in the low 800’s.

I think with those number you’d push 7 rings in the high 800’s maybe low 9’s. I was shooting cudas at bout 1050 and think 7 rings would go around 860.
