It’s O.k. just push it in real good.

I agree, I always had to take mine out with the aid of a screwdriver. Although I guess I never did pick up the whole tank by the tophat.

I would definitely recommend a different holding point for the future. 😀

Had it been sitting along time? I wouldn’t think it should pop off that easily, unless its been sitting awhile. I ussually have to pry mine out.

About a month and a 1/2.

If the delrin seal in the valve is still ok, just push that stem back into the valve!!
Not a very clear pic but just seems you pulled the stem out??

So…. is it normal for the stem to just pull out? There is slight resistance when I put it in and pull it out, this is normal? Sorry for the suck pics my camera is only 2.1 megs and the Macro shot looks even worse.

The base of the stem sits in a delrin cup and is held there by a bit of tightness. Does the stem have splines around it’s base? If so they help to keep it in the cup. It’s not a good idea to keep pulling it out but it’s not a big deal occasionally.

Thanks again for the advice! I actually pulled it out when I took it out of the safe, I grabbed the stem tip to pick it up and the bottle fell out but luckily I caught it before it hit floor.

Can you get a bigger picture and/or a closeup of the damage?

I can’t see what you think is broken.
