Q:

How can you tell what version of Edgun ?

Hello,
I had purchased 2 years ago an edgun .22 multishot from someone on the Talon Forum. (pictures several weeks ago on a different topic.)

How can I tell what version I have?

I am contemplating to sell and would like to be correct if I post it.

Thanks for anyone’s help,
JR

Comments are what this forum is all about.

When you step into this place and ask for an opinion you usually get an assortment of input. Some will be useful, some off topic, some humorous, and some just plain strange, or ill mannered. My comments are usually all of the aforementioned qualities.

You are among friends, regardless of what is said.

Now…numbnutts, is the rust real or just a bad reflection? Inquiring minds want to know.

PS: Besides, I`m really old and cranky. The moderators tolerate me because they know I`ll be dead soon enough. I think there is even a pool on the exact date I`ll bite the big one! Might want to ask around…could be easy money.

hey hoot….
I think it would make sense for you not to make a comment on a quick photo, as you incorrectly assess a condition both outside and inside.

Ill be more generous and give you 600 for everything. It clearly needs to be taken out of circulation for safety sake.

I’d think twice. If there’s as much rust on the inside of that barrel as there is on the outside, you’d be overpaying. (check that picture carefully in front of the breech)

That rascal looks to have been ridden hard and put away wet.

As bad as it looks, my $500 offer was made and I’m man enough to stand behind it, no matter how poor a condition that gun is in.

Hey Goat,

Being 2nd owner, I must admit I never paid attention to the ass backwards rail.
But as I looked at now , that was the only way this rail and scope could work.

If the rail was reversed, the length of the rail would interfere with the diameter of the objective lens.

JR

Yep, R2.5. Looks like the scope rail is on ass backwards.

thanks zocoloco

JR

Looks like a Matador 2.5 std. to me……..

Cheers 😀
