Q:

How do i use the hand pump

I cant seem to fiqure this out when i pump it dosnt go into the gun and when i try to unscrew the the tank the adapter comes to. I have the bleed falve closed it seems like its staying in the adapter. Is the valve on the tank not opening do i have to get to a certain bar before the tank opens? And why dosnt the adapter stay on?

Or are you asking about the hand pump penis enlarger? 😆

Layman’s guide to hand pumps:

Up-down-up-down-up-down…… etc.

After reading about a lot of pumps failing and trying to use mine for the first time I decided to send it back, get $180 refund, and purchase a SCUBA tank.

I was recommended to get a 3500psi 100cu/ft steel tank. This gives me 15 refills at 3000psi if I refill when my gun tank reaches 2200psi. You can plug your own numbers here: http://www.airhog.com/tank.htm

Here’s my rational. The dive shop charges $7 to fill one of my Airforce tanks but charges $5 to fill a 100cu/ft 3500psi tank!!! The whole setup pays for itself very quickly.

Plus I like the idea of turning on a tap to fill my tanks 🙂

The o-rings can go bad and I had the check valve spring broke on me. The check valve spring got moisture on it and rusted causing it to break and screw up some of the o-rings. I sent 4 pumps back to Airforce and after the fifth one broke I fixed it myself and it has worked ever since.

Make sure you do not pump to fast and follow instructions.

If you pump to fast you will bugger it.

I bought it used so there are no instructions. But it seems to work just fine. Are the seals the only thing that go bad?

Give it 6 months and you’ll have a scba tank… 😉 😆

Or, huge triceps and a stronger heart! 😆

You’ll still buy an SCBA tank sooner or later. I’m 15 and while I could easily work the handpump, I burned the darn thing out. You have to pump in bursts in order to keep it cool or it will damage the seals.

how many fills do you get from a scuba tank and what does it cost usd for a fill. I think i will hold onto my pump as long as possible its not to bad im 16 so its no biggie.

yeah i have never used i pcp before so this is all new I think i need to lube my pump shaft because it seems dry and i feel the seals but it works fine. but me being a light weight its hard as hell to get from empty to full pressure. but it should be ok for topping of. I can wait to sight her in tommarow.

So you were just being impatient? The pump was working?

i pumped her up to 175 bar and it worked awsome shot through some particle board lik butter. it was to dark to sight her i today so i will fill her up to 200 bar and sight her in tommarow.

If you are filling from empty, just keep pumping, it will take a while to register on the needle. As long as the pump is working, and you can’t hear the air coming out anywhere else, its gotta be going in the bottle….
