Q:

How do you check your tank end pressure?

I use a scuba tank fill adapter, and while I can tell my start pressure, I don’t understand how to check my end pressure.

Is there a way to use the scuba tank adapter to tell ?

Some guns will actually cause the needle to “bounce” a little as the intake valve opens. This will soon be very obvious to you!

When you refil – the pressure in the fill hose has to be greater than the guns pressure to open the guns fill valve so when you first open the scuba’s fill adapter the guage needle moves pretty quick because your only filling the hose – then when the pressure is the same in the hose and the gun it will go slower as now its filling the gun’s reservour which is much more volume.

So, the point where the needle slow’s is the end pressure.
