Q:

How do you dump a Tank

I recently put an E-tac on my Talon and after getting everything lined up and put back together, realized it was slowly leaking and losing 1k psi a day. I tightened up the gauge and the fill nipple, now it doesn’t seem to leak, but is hard to fill. Is it possible that I tightened in the fill nipple to far and now it is blocking the fill hole? I need to dump the pressure from my tank and don’t feel like dry firing it for a half an hour.. any ideas?

WTF??? All I wanted to know is if anyone knew of a quick way to get the air out of my tank with out squeezing the shit out of the trigger for a shitload of dry fires… and you guys go off on a fucking tangent about who the fuck knows what?????? and if anyone ever tightened in the fill nipple on an E-tac so far that you couldn’t put air in your gun…and I hear about fat chicks eating to much pasta. Did I missing something???

didnt say you were, just didnt know if u were kidding or not. i got no place in that argument, and yes pab seems cool to me 😎

I was sincere in what was said, If I’m wrong so be it. I have no reason to argue with Pablouk. I respect Pablo and should we decide to disagree that would be done respectfully also. I have no reason to disagree!

Hey Pablouk how’s the weather in Jolly ole England? Turtles setting on the log and the Spring Peepers are singing their hearts out, sunny and strong breeze here today.

Sam 😕

i recall lurking a while back, and i think it was pab(correct me if im wrong) having to explain to some halfwits on another forum(yellow?) about why dieseling is possible in a pcp, and that shit went on forever. if you were just dicking, sorry bout explaining it and digging up that proverbial dead horse to beat some more 😛

So exactly what are you saying?

Sam ❓

ssshhhh! dont make pab angry, you wouldnt like him when hes angry. 😈 😈 😆

Somebody want to explain what they”re talking about? I don’t have a clue.

What do you think Pablouk?

Sam 🙄

With a standard condor Hi Flo valve, place a dime/penny into the fill adapter and tighten until air starts to leak slowly. Give it 15 to 2o minuets to very painfully slowly empty.

Fast is not good and it creates heat, that’s not good for the valve. I know, tank dumps happen, but that can’t be good for the valve.

Sam 😆

Thats the way to do it. Though if the air does come out fast (which it probably will) it will make everything cold, not hot. Compressing air makes hot, expanding air makes cold.

Here we go again 🙄

x2 oh, shit. lets not remind them, they could be reading now!

The way I usually dumped a tank, was to tell her to come back around after she had quit eating twice her body weight in pasta per day. 😆

I didn’t feel like taking my gun apart because I have a short E-Tac on it, so I just slowly loosened the nipple and the Gauge till they pissed all the air out but no so far as to turn them into projectiles. once air was out I removed both of them and unscrewed the bottle. It was a pain in the ass lining up the bottle collar with the bottle attached, easier to put the gauge and the nipple in once the bottle with E-tac is on the gun.

After taking it apart, I realized that I tightened the nipple in too far the first time and it was hitting the bottom of the valve, thus not allowing it to pop open and let air into the gun. 😳 feel like a dumb ass.. all the squirrles running around and my shit isn’t working!!!!!WTF 👿 👿
