How do you fill your Cricket?
Hi guys, just picked up a .22 carbine on sale from WWAG. Coming from a 1st gen Marauder, this thing is frickin’ sweet. A little confused on the filling though, and this is going to sound stupid. If I want to fill to 200 BAR, how do I do that? Once I crack the valve on my tank, the tank gauge goes right up to 200. I let it sit for a minute, and then close the valve. Tank gauge drops down under 200. Have to repeat this until it’s actually at 200. Am I retarded or Is there an easier way?
Also, what keeps the fill probe from popping out of the gun’s port while airing up? It’s a little unnerving to me that just slips in and out.

Crickets fill really slow. Mine works the same way. Open tank valve, keep an eye on it and your hand, and watch the gun gauge. When the gun gauge reads what you want, turn the tank off and bleed the line. Done. I suppose if your tank had a regulator, you could just set that to 200 bar and open it up without watching it, but I don’t think many guys use a reg on their tank. Just my newbie, humble opinion.
