HOW DO YOU LIKE BEEMAN CROW MAGNUMS IN .22 CAL.?
I’m thinking about placing an order. I know every gun is different. But as a general rule do the Condors/Talons like them?

In .22 cal its generally been stated through trial and error that beyond 30yds the groups open up quite a bit. Tumbleing is common, and this is reported from guys shotting at all speeds. Talon, TSS, Condor, Modded valves and custom valves, i don’t know that i’ve ever read about cro-mags shooting well beyond the 30yd mark. The pellet is not aerodynamic, therefore only suite for backyard distances. Its a good pellet for those ranges and does its job well. In some regards out performs Kodiaks or JSB because you don’t get over penetration. The Cro-mag enters and rapidly expands, giving all its energy to the target. There is a reason why Kodiaks and JSB type pellets perform so well at distance, that is because of the head type, domed. Although Kodiaks are considered pointed, they are more domed in my eyes. The truth is we are using pellets designed for less powered airguns, and not much has come out for the higher powered PCP type AGs. What we need is a bullet shaped pellet around 30g/35g or so.
