How i test EDguns
Since I don’t have access to an underground target range I have to find more creative ways to test the accuracy of the EDguns I sell
Here’s my testing lab :

Rimfire with subsonic ammo and silencer = ZERO db!
The only noise is the target being hit, much quieter than a high power silenced pcp.
Whole setup in semiauto probably 600-700 USD, this is why bullpub pcp pricing sucks!
Cons = It is a REAL WEAPON with all the necessary paperwork and restrictions.

So you plan to put on your nightvision goggles and do a night hunt as well?
Most of my shots are 70 yards but occasionally I take them at 120 just to see if I can. They are extremely hard to kill. I don’t like them crawling off so head , neck shots are really the only way to consistently stone them. California ground squirrels will army crawl with their bodies cut in half.
The key to killing them is to bring a pea-less whistle with you. When they are moving around or foraging a couple quick tweets and they will sit up and look around. Now you have a good look at their vitals
I don’t have to clean them up. If I leave that pile they will be gone by the morning. The coyotes do all the dirty work.
What distance are you shooting from? That’s a big pile to clean up afterwards.

X, it’s a tough job but someone has to test these guns :rofl:
Cricket, here’s why a PCP airgun is superior to a rimfire. With the current set up I have on my .25 (895FPS, & Offset moderator) they don’t move after a shot is taken. California ground squirrels live in packs. If I were to shoot them with a rimfire I would only be able to shoot one because the noise would make the others run off. Because of low muzzle report the squirrels don’t know they are next.

All this testing of EdGuns you have done… I’m going to go out on a limb here but…..I think they work and work well! :8: That being said, keep testing because one can never be too sure! :biggrinn:

Guys, I’m out here for you, my EDgun customers. It’s a lot of work testing the EDgun like this: It’s tough but someone has to do it….

Excellent work, Brian. Does the heart good to know you’re helping to prevent a rodent takeover of the world. (You know they’re trying; always breeding, gnawing, biting…)

I have actually been looking for a good night vision set up . I have been looking at different set ups like nitesite
