How long ??????
Hi guys. When a pcp rifle is loaded and ready to shoot can you damage the gun if left loaded to long ??? Any input would be appreciated. Thanx

You need to decock the hammer for few minutes until you want to fire again.. otherwise loaded gus for days or more ae very dangerous and also harmful for the HST …
Hammer spring can get worn out I think, but only if you leave it for hours
Likely not for most pcps but can be very dangerous depending on how long from accidents. Many BPs have no safety.

Pretty well from what I heard , Hammer spring can become weak,,, (I posted the same question)
I will wait 5 to 15 minutes for the bird to show back up, after that I go ahead and decock the gun or fire it.
