How Loud?

THIS LOUD=== 😯

Do a search in the stickies under moderators. There are plenty of do it your self info there. You can build a very good Shroud for under 20.00! 😉

If you want mouse fart quiet, you have to pay the big bucks. Talon Tunes. Get the Blue Jay, Yeloz.

tony at Talon Tunes is the quietest, followed very closely by Sean(blodKnob) and Yeloz.

Sean’s and Yelo’s are built like a tank!!! Life time equipment. But good luck getting either of them to make you one. 😆

I think the Airhog shroud is $175 new but I got mine used for $140 shipped. It is made for a .22 or .25 Condor but works very well on my standard Talon. It is just over 12 inches long and is the same diameter as the frame. This is a pic of my Talon with the shroud and a 100 yard group from it. Second pic is 75 yards. These were both shot from a sitting position in calm wind. They are some of my better groups but it does show that the shroud does not affect accuracy. The white square is 1 inch.

Its a full shroud and fits up to the end of the frame over the barrel… It is baffled and works quite well. I am not so sure of the length, as I have mine out on loan… I hope to get it back someday as well LOL…

I know it causes standard pellets to wobble and keyhole. i just dont want my neighboors to think im shooting a rimfire. And i dont want my game to be spooked by the report. Does the airhog come with baffles and is it a full or partial shroud and how much does it add in length to the gun?

I have never seen a used one that will work on the Condor under a 100 bucks. That would be a steal for sure… I wopuld give airhog a call in the morning and ask for this shroud of his that fit the Condor and see how much they are now… I bet they are under 200, but not by much if they are…

They work well enough and he probably has them in stock as well… These guns can be way loud. Then if you shroud them and get them all nice and hush hush, you go and stick a pellet that is to light of weight for the setting your on and you break the sound barrier, you will not hear the rifle still, but you will get the sonic crack… That is loud by itself dude…

You take the Condor without the shroud and break the sound barrier to boot, these rifles are way louder than a rimfire… The report on them is shocking… Then once you get the rifle hushed up, until you get use to it, you will be wondering if the rifle is shooting as it should and not gone pouch on you LOL… Least this happened to me when I first got mine…
Hell of a rifle once you get it all setup to your liking…

Maybe used, but I wouldn’t count on it.

I hear around 200$ for a shroud and i do a double take. Can i get one for under a hundred dollars?

I don’t shoot on low power, but on high my condor was louder than my .22.

Welcome to the forum. I don’t know how loud a condor is but you can get a shroud from Airhog or from a few people on this forum. I am sure they will answer your post.
