Q:

How many BARs you need for one magazine

In my case cal.22 18 grain 880fps 21bar/14shots.
What is curious for jumbo pellet 275mps I have 20bar/14 shots. Shouldn’t be less bars?

I’m assuming you’re just changing the velocity by turning the HST ?

Yes Greg, just with HST

What is your currant setup the valve spring and reg pressure setting ?

Here is my TP sizes for my Cricket 22 std:

Regulator pressure set 125bar
– FIRING VALVE= 4,50mm
– RECEIVER= 5,00mm
– BARREL= 4,3mm

Maximum velocity with reg pressure 125 is 273mps/896fps and with 130bar regulator pressure is max 276mps/905fps

I’m assuming you’re just changing the velocity by turning the HST ?

If so at 275 mps = 902 fps your gun is more air efficient (and is more in balance with the 3 springs) with its current setup (reg setting, valve spring setting and hammer spring).

What is your currant setup the valve spring and reg pressure setting ?

Also, I do believe that if you port out your TP in various ways it will have an effect on air efficiency.
IMO the shape of the combining TP, meaning the size of the barrel TP, receiver TP and the Valve TP has an effect on the characteristic of the total output performance of the gun.
The shape of the combined total TP can have a Venturi Effect and make the slug of air travel down the barrel farther or closer down in barrel at a different bandwidth.
