Q:

How much air am I wasting?

I had Tim at Mac1 machine my A.F. adaptor to a foster fitting and install a braided hose. I am wondering if there’s a shorter hose out there somewhere? It seems like by the time I pressurize the whole thing there’s a lot of waste? Before when the connector was hooked directly to the clamp and I turned the bleed off screw there was a “psss”, now with the hose and what not there’s a “Pssssssssssssssssssss”

I wonder if there is a way to put some sort of petcock type valve in between the foster and the modified A.F. adaptor ? That way I wouldn’t be wasting the air in the line.

Not to play favorites, Airhog also sells them to length…

Sam, Brancato claims his micro bore hoses (.070″) at one foot wastes less air than a 1/4″ piece of regular braided hose.

As RiffRaff directed me, Joe will cut any hose length you want (I just wish I had known that BEFORE I placed my original order with him).
