Q:

How much do you spend on airgun stuff per month?

I know that a lot of guys here seem to get new stuff every few weeks, or at least that what it seems like, so I was wondering – how much do you think that you spend on airguns and airgun related stuff per month? Airgunning, for me, is the kind of hobby that you can spend a little or a lot on and still have great fun either way, and that’s great.

PS – Don’t let the wife see!

Since I’m pretty new to PCP a have spent a few bucks but like lama said now that things are together it’s mainly ammo and air fills.

mostly for ammo now that i have all the rifles i want. two pcp’s and two major springers.

i do a great deal of the work to ‘customize’ them myself.

I’m not much for ‘fancy’ customization; i prefer ‘functional’ so it seems a little easier to me, to customize. i fabricate most of my stuff from materials i have on hand.

In the last year, condor plus shroud , laser, bipod. then i bought a talon ss with shroud, bipod and laser. don’t forget scopes I think I have 5 now.
two scuba tanks and two scuba fill adapters (gotta have one for each tank. One pellet pistol another coming. had to build a clay trap so it was quiet in the basement! chrono, carry case about 20 tins of pellets (gotta test them out) then bought 10 tins kodiak extra heavies (the ones I like) settled on predators for the talon (5 more tins)
OH SHIT I GIVE UP ! how about too much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😉

I kept track of that for 2 seperate months..I got scared. threw the lists away, and promised to never put myself through that sort of pain again. And I’m being dead serious..when I got into airgunning (16 Nov. of 2009 ) I went “goofy” for a few months…bought 10 different airguns, chrony, printer, SCUBA set-up, SCBA set-up, scopes, mounts, and I could go on and on……

Yeah, what Lama Said.

I’ve got all the toys i need and all the accessories they need.

So its just ammo for now. So yeah, about 10-15 bucks a month.

Even though i just spent 85 Dollars at Mac-1 for a 14″/2240 barrel complete with accuracy/power package.

On average $14,000 a month.

😆

But seriously, I’m not much in the competition here. It probably comes down to about $10 a month for ammo.

Which really is good, it’s a cheaper hobby. I spend $20 a week to feed my .22lr.

Enough that I am no longer under the MRS. Radar 😆

$300.00 TO $400.00. But I just bought my first air rifle in September, so I am still outfitting the condor with tanks and barrels and next month a frame. Hopefully it quit being as expensive in a few months

Roachcreek

50.00 to 100.00 before but now I have stopped as my Condor, 2250, QB-57, AND Drozd builds are done just pellets now.
