Wouldn’t that jump into the 900+ fps range, with a hi-flo valve, and a heavier hammer ❓ ❓ ❓

Defends on how fast you can throw the darned thin. But the are kind of heavy so I’d say 10fps 😆
I have a modified talon with a 24″ barrel and shot 31 grain pellets around 860fps.
With 18″ barrel i would think you will be in the 790-810fps, still pretty good killing speed for such a heavy pellet
Not alot 😆 Depending on what pellet you use maybe you’ll get mid 600 to low 700s?
With a 24″ barrel you might have more luck.

I have had both a .25 barrel and a 24in .22 barrel with the standard Talon Valve. Both setups yield excellent accuracy, but the power difference is only 5-8fpe between the two. If you get a .22 25in HW barrel from Mac1 airguns , it’s only $155 and the accuracy is splendid. The trajectory is also lazer like. My .22 shoots JSB 18gr. at 995 fps and has very little drop out to 70 yds.
EDIT: Unless your a very low volume shooter, the ammo costs are off the chart for the .25. It’s $7 for a tin of 85 Euin Jins vs. $15 for a tin of 500 JSBs.
I’m not anti .25, but it has its place as a caliber for the ultra powerful monster guns.
