Q:

How to degas veteran?

Is there any way to do this?
I’ve seen a video which shows a pin being inserted into the adjuster cap instead of putting the hammer spring in, but I don’t have that

All disassembled, now to polish this transfer port

.

To remove the valve end cap off of the receiver.

From what I’ve seen but haven’t done it myself yet ……….
Place a rod (or metric drill bits shank end) into the 4mm hole on the side of the end cap and turn it to loosen.
I don’t think there’s anything else that is holding it, IDK.
