How to release air from the tank?
I have a Airforce Condor and I think I am having a valve lock problem. I would like to release some air from the tank. Is there a easy way to do this?
If I try to shoot my gun no air comes out of the tank – it is full. I do not remember what PSI I pumped it to but it should not of been to much

It is press fitted in there. Usually takes a bit of pressure to lift it out.
Does the Top Hat just sit in there or is it held in somehow?
I had my gun apart and sitting on a dresser for a long time so when I took the tank off I must of took that off also or it fell off? Since I do not shoot my gun much I didn’t realize I was missing anything when I went to shoot the next time. I feel like a idiot 🙂
I guess I need to buy me some parts now……..

I think I finally figured out my problem. I was wondering why the penny wouldnt work and so I looked at my tank versus a pic on the net and tada:
Now any one have a idea on how exactly I go about fixing this?

that part is well worth repeating.
releasing air:
put a penny or dime in the bottom of the fill adapter and SLOWLY screw the tank into the adapter until air starts to come out.

That happened for me also:cry:
I did some repair for bottle and when I filled it with pump and finally took it off from pump, top hat with stem dropped on the floor ❓ ❗ :shock:&%#$$
Right after 500+ stroke I had to dump it,,,well always you can’t win.
I carefully released burst disk and let it flow empty. Take the valve off after all air are out.
Is that old type valve, I can’t see o-ring mod done. If so, buy a new valve. If you got quarantee left, send bottle back to factory then you should get bottle back with new valve.
Later I glued it with epoxy, no proplem after that.
