How to Tweak the Regulator (Easy way).
Wanted to show a couple of things i did to the Edgun (Fixes/tunes) for a long time & so here it is, this is basically a quicker way of tuning the regulator up/down, the other way is a lot more time consuming.
This is the regulator, you remove the top screw (cap)by turning it clockwise then thereβs another screw that you need to turn clockwise about 30 (1 o’clock) degrees to get around 5-10bar lower & anticlockwise for more pressure
As you can see i used a 1″ PVC pipe and put some electric tape on the tip to protect the tank from scratching. 25″ length is more than enough to reach the regulator.
The cap covering the regulator is also warped with electric tape but not too tight, that way once its in place & you turn it anti clockwise than you just pull the PVC pipe out, in my case i completely removed it, so i can tweak it quicker (Not sure if its a bad thing or not but so far so good).
What you do is, you drain all the air in the tank and then only open the top cap like the picture below, than you use that PVC pipe with the screw tip & slide it all the way inside & turn really slow with your fingers until you feel that it rested on the Regulator scree & there is a bit of pressure when you start turning now, also its a good idea to remember where you had the regulator before making any changes so you know how far you turned it.
I will eventually show the things i fabricated for the edgun, im just too lazy to do it now.
UPDATE
Here is a couple of things that broke, or werent working too good & so i made some modification, ill just let the pictures do the talking.
P.S: We have many Edgun users here & i think it would be great if someone makes a sticky with all the bits & pieces for the Edgun including O-Rings sizes, things to do, tweaks, tunes & a how to. That way we all contribute to that thread & make it a helpful page for all EDgun users.
